This is a series I call N.Y.C Blues. Taken during a lonely and distraught period of my life where  I felt invisible to the world and to myself.  I read the book ‘Junky’ by William S. Burroughs at that time and was instantly drawn to a specific character in the book would always appear in the novel wearing a different trench coat.  This was because he would steal them wherever he went, even in broad daylight no one would notice.  The type of person you can never remember, who can hide away in the shadows.
